My history to paint
I grew up in a big ranch in Holland, which my parents themselves build to their dream house. They were very much following their dreams as they wanted to kids to do the same. The way the made us study at least one musical instrument and the way the made us grow up with loads of animals was the thing much needed for creating a childhood where the child learns so much about life... I play violin and had my own two horses which I love very much. My dad liked to build old cars to new working cars. He also liked to keep animals and model cars. My mum was productive in painting and making flower art. I believe it was because of her that I was so interested in 2D art. Although I never actually painted until I did study in Groningen after 17 years... When I painted for the first time in forever I seemed to had talent or it. Below, the paintings I among with the needed information.

Made at school with the assignment to just do it! and beside that make use of colored paper to add to the work. |
Drowning, Acryl on cardboard, February 8, 2016, Groningen.
This painting was made in the painters week we had at school. Painter Frank Hutchison came to school to teach us methods to paint. The painting on the right is painted according to a picture from the internet. From that moment I started to like painting really much, because now I knew the methods and techniques. In this week I learned so much and I am greatful to the teachers. |
Flower garden, Acryl on cardboard, February, 9, 2016, Groningen.
This painting was also from the painters week. The artist wanted us to practise light of plastic bottles. Together with my colleague I painted this painting, which we want to gift to the UMCG hospital in Groningen for the children department. |
Faded, Acryl on cardboard, February 10, 2016, Groningen.
In this same painters week we had the assignment to take three pictures with us of the same interior. With it it had to have three stages of fading. First we had to paint it crisp to eventually blur all out.. |
